A stage that read as a single held breath — translating performance into architectural form for GALA's ten-year anniversary main stage. Its signature came from fabric architecture, developed through material testing and prototype studies.
Outcome
The anniversary main stage — a tensile fabric structure that shifted from sunlit architecture by day to a nocturnal beacon by night.
“The night closed at Joy, GALA’s main stage… towering and luminous, the stage resembled a futuristic jellyfish, with long white panels cascading down and lit up in shifting colours — a dreamlike visual that matched the transcendence of the music.”
